Back at Mayernik Kitchen for another brand session and I’m so excited to share some of my favorite photos from another amazing session together!!

Before you continue reading, I recommend checking out my previous brand session with Mayernik Kitchen to learn more about the owners, Shannon and Matt, and their business! They are truly an amazing duo and I’m so thankful and honored to be the one capturing their story and business!!

Here’s a quote from Shannon that beautifully explains why they do what they do: “The heart of our business is educating through the community we are creating. We Grow. We Make. We Teach. We want folks to know that there is an alternative to western medicine. We also want them to know that there are many plants that grow right out their backdoor that can be used medicinally. By creating this community, we are creating a safe space for folks to come and explore options they may have not known existed. We are also teaching people how to make their own plant medicine so they have an herbal medicine cabinet.” GAHH I seriously work with the coolest business owners!!

For this session, we spent time inside their shop capturing Shannon and the process of medicine making including some of the many tools used to make their products. Tinctures, salves, elderberry syrup, hydrosols, elixirs, teas – over 80 herbal products, you name it, they probably have it. I had so much fun using their beautiful items as props in these shots including their amber jars, dried herbs and more! 

After the shop, we went to a local arboretum to capture some lifestyle shots of Shannon out in nature. The trees were in bloom and there was so much greenery around, it was a beautiful day to walk around and take photos!

Shannon and Matt – I love seeing how much your business has grown and flourished over this year and I can’t wait for our next brand session together!!
