My Story

I’ve been in every one of those places. For me, it looked like this: I was a stressed-out, overworked, anxious, overwhelmed mess. Back in 2015, I shot about 15 weddings and 15 engagement sessions and they were draining all of my time and energy (on top of my full-time job as a photo editor for a studio). I DESPERATELY needed to get out of my full time job but I needed more clients and more money. (Tale as old as time, right?) I was neglecting important relationships to me (including the one to my own self) and knew I needed to make a change... 

And then I decided to take a leap of faith, quit my job, and make things work. I spent my entire off season going into 2016 refining everything I had learned about the post-production workflow from the last 3-4 years. I was nailing down everything I did; finessing tasks into manageable systems and spending my entire “off-season”refining and tweaking every step and process. In 2016 I shot 28 weddings, approximately 35 engagement sessions and did at least 12 portrait and brand sessions on top of that. (More than double the year before.) When does the course start?

As soon as you enroll, you're able to login and access the course! All the lessons are available online 24 hours per day, seven days per week. 

How do I access the content?

As soon as your order goes through you will be added as a student to the Photography Workflow Mastery course. You will be able to login to your student account on Teachae and watch all the videos! You will also get an email with a unique link custom to you to login it if you misplace it! From there, as long as you have internet access to watch the videos, you're good to go!  

How is the material taught?

The course is laid out over different modules representing different sections of your photography workflow. Each section will have corresponding video lectures, workbooks, and template downloads where applicable.

Is this for beginners or advanced photographers?

Both! This is something I desperately needed when I was starting out in my business as I had no clue what a proper workflow needed to look like. And once I did and became in high demand, this workflow saved me more times that I can count as I booked more weddings and needed to keep up with the extra work that came with that. Now I can shoot as many sessions a year as I want without being overwhelmed.

What programs are used in the workflow you teach?

I use Photo Mechanic for culling, Lightroom for editing and Blog Stomp and Wordpress for my blog workflow. For albums I use Smart Albums to design and KISS for the actual product. While I recommend these programs, if you don’t have them all or use something equivalent to any of these, the workflow remains the same because it’s the concept and the how that’s being taught. The software itself is secondary but you will be able to read all my efficiency tips and recommendations through the course of what I recommend to use and why.
