Okay, let me just say this: Brand Photography is the freakin’ best. When Steph came to her first Tuesday’s Together meeting in November 2015,  I had no idea that she would soon turn into one of my closest friends.  Steph is one of those people that make you feel like you’re the only person in the room.  Her life motto is basically, “How can I help you? How can I make you breathe easier?”  We instantly connected over our mutual love for cheese.  Okay who am I kidding- OBSESSION with cheese and our love of wine.

 

When I met her originally, she was going 0-100 on her dream to be a wedding planner and designer.  Soon after launching that business, she realized that the anxiety setting in meant that she wasn’t on the right path.  After almost a year of soul searching, she discovered what she truly was called to do, and the result of that search was Stephanie Williamson and Co. A branding, graphic design, web design and marketing business for creatives and small business owners.

 

From the day I met her, I could literally FEEL the love she had for empowering others, and lifting other creatives up.  At the time, it was just with her words and her heart, but now, with the exciting launch of her new brand, she is able to not only touch people with her words, but her gifts, her talents, her educational resources and more.

 

What is seriously exciting about this session in particular, besides Steph being a dear friend, is that I got to witness and be a part of Steph’s entire brand unfolding.  When she began her deep dive for her own brand, she actually went through my entire free E-Book for Creatives: “10 Secrets every Creative Entrepreneur needs to know to Build a Profitable and Intentional Brand.”

I got to read through her pages and pages of notes of how she wanted the brand to feel, and essentially, this sums it up:

“It’s Saturday morning and you’ve had a LONG week to say the least. You finally have a second to move a little slower, sip on your coffee, relax in bed or on the couch, and do some light reading. Do you have a sacred place that is super comfy or allows you to try and escape the world for a little bit? Kind of like a reading nook, a bubble bath on a Friday night or your yoga mat?”

 

Her brand feels cozy, approachable, warm and inviting- like your favorite blanket or your favorite cup of coffee.  But it also feels empowering, like you can conquer all your dreams and fears.  THAT my friends, is the beautiful power of branding.

When she asked me to do brand photography for her, I literally could have cried from excitement.  Her brand is everything I stand for and I couldn’t wait to document the heart behind her business and share her story.

 

Through these images, we tried to capture all the feelings and things Steph loves: cozy blankets, books, coffee, reading, wine, oversized sweaters, God, and did I mention coffee?  I think we succeeded.  I’m so absolutely thrilled to share her story with you through these images, I know this girl has a long successful road ahead of her and she is going to impact so many lives with her talents.
