Lovable jewelry for everyday. That’s the motto at Stia Couture, who I had the pleasure of working with yesterday! I stepped into her studio and I was completely blown away. We’re talking jaw hit the floor. Wall to wall floor to ceiling were GORGEOUS pieces of jewelry. Bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings. All of it completely flawless, designed and made in house with heart and a mission. Stia Couture’s mission is to empower women to sparkle in all they do. This mission is hanging up on the wall as you walk in with a big sparkly sign that states “Never miss your chance to sparkle.” I’ve reflected so much on that saying this past week as I have come to the realization that in order to do great things, sometimes you need to say no to good things so your true calling can shine!

Christina, owner and CEO of Stia, entered the NYC fashion world while finishing her college studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).  During her career working for several undergarment companies, Christina realized her true passion was designing for “women”.  Her dream was to have her own line – one that would make women feel good about themselves.  Six years later, STIA COUTURE was founded.  In 2012, after nervously leaving a career and becoming a stay-at-home mom, jewelry making was just a “nap time” hobby.  Opening a store on ETSY.COM, STIA COUTURE soon became a flourishing business that has satisfied the need for beautiful, meaningful, and affordably crafted designs.  Now the brand is carried in over 50 stores across the US and in Europe. Now that’s a woman who knows how to sparkle!
